Okay so I'm having a problem that I don't exactly understand.

I missed my period for 3 months recently and I know its not pregnancy.

I finally got my period back but now its been nonstop for 3 weeks and its still going. What could be causing this??

Did you change your birth control method?

If you were on the pill for instance, and stopped it.. Then you can experience no periods for months, then either go back to the same pattern, or keep bleeding for a while, as your body is totally out of wack.

Right. Or if you're really young, like a teenager, it can be quite common to have irregular cycles just like you described. As far as I know that's not harmful, but it can be inconvenient. So if you wanted to regulate your cycle and you're NOT on birth control, a gynecologist might recommend you going on it for that reason.

Yeahh I'm not on birth control and I haven't ever really had regular cycles. I'm just worried it could be something more serious, but I'm thinking its just going wack for a little while
