ok every since i started my cycle i have had really bad cramps. i mean i could barely walk and i stayed sick.its better now but sometimes the cramps are still bad and i have to take prescibed pain killers for it to stop. i have realized that i have blood clots during my cycle and usually the only other time the pain stops is when im using the restroom and the clots are free to release and completely leave my body into the toliet. i was wondering if anyone else has or have had this problem? are if anyone know why this happens and how if possible can it be controled?

I used to have that problem, a lot of clots being passed, severe cramping and back pain, extremely heavy bleeding. I went to the dr and got on the pill. It helps regulate the period and reduces the clots, makes the flow lighter too.

i have the clots nearly every cycle, nothing abnormal, sometimes you shed a lot of lining in your womb ready for the next one, and sometimes its less but bleed more. My doctor told me lol. So i wouldnt worry, nuerofen is great and there is a tablet to ease heavy periods on top of the pill

i know periods are a natural thing, but its still such a medical topic, we are lumped with them from an early age and more or less have to deal, lol. Women are the best, they vary so greatly and can really be a pain in the u know where. Everything about periods are scary tbh lol

I have factor 5 leiden which is a blood clotting disorder. I have yet to have a clot but when i do i will be placed on lovenox shots. I get clots in my peroid too about the size of quarters.
