Thread: Tubal ligaation+ late period+ spotting

I had a tubal ligation when I had a c-section last March and have always had severe pain in my right side about a week before every period and for the duration of my period. I have never been late, my cycle's are always 27 days. Last month, it was on time as usual, the pain was more than usual and about a week later, I had severe pain again. It is not normal for me to have pain like that right after my period. Now, I'm 4 days late and have had a tiny bit of spotting.
Does any one know what could be causing this? I plan on seeing my OB/GYN but was hoping I could get a few answers before I go.
