I've had my implant for 2 years now. I did not have a period for two years, I got the implant as they were really heavy before. I never had any problems whilst on implant. A few weeks back I got a heavy bleeding - it lasted 5 weeks, finally I went to a clinic and received female sex hormones which I was meant to take for 2 weeks - they were meant to stop my periods again. After I stopped taking them I had a normal 3 day period. My period finished on the 4th of June and to be honest, I wasn't expecting another period, but now, not even 3 weeks after the last bleeding finished, i'm bleeding again. What shall I do?

I was thinking maybe it's the implant stopping to work now? I'm not under any pressure, I live a normal life - non stressful. I'm in a long-term relationship and this is really annoying sometimes. Also, I'm 18 years old.

Any advice?
