I am new to this forum. I am just curious to what is going on with me

Last month, I started the generic pill of Yaz called Gianvi. I was due for my period on the 25th of July. The day before however, I started antibiotics for a UTI that I had gotten that day. VERY painful. Well, I got my period as scheduled on July 25th, but it was a few hours late. I usually get my period in the morning and this time I got it in the afternoon. (like 6 hours later..3pm)

My period is pretty much over. It's Thursday. That NEVER happens. I mean yes i was cramping, had a killer headache..the works..but I just didn't bleed much... I mean I did bleed first the brown "old blood" stuff, then the red normal blood, then back to brown..but not a lot at all. I probably changed my pad once a day and didn't need a tampon at all. That's very unusual for me...

My question is what could of caused that? Am I pregnant? I've taken two test and both were negative. I have had unprotected sex but my boyfriend pulled out way ahead of time. But I'm scared about the whole "pre cum" thing. I mean I heard as long as there was no prior ejaculation then there's no sperm in it.. But i'm still scared.

Or could it be that I was on antibiotics throughout the course of my period? along being sick with a UTI? or is it the change from a brand name pill to the generic? Is this implantation bleeding? Please help!! any advice and information is appreciated.

The culprit would be starting birth control. Once you start taking them your body needs to get used to them, there is nothing to worry about because this is completely normal.

I'm not sure about it being generic and whether that could make a difference, but it could be messed up due to the antibiotics and the UTI infection. You do know to use protection while you are on antibiotics as that can mess up the effectiveness of the pill right?
Implantation happens 6-12 days after fertilisation. If it was implantation bleeding it would be brown, not red, implantation blood is old blood travelling from the uterus out of the body.
To be safe do another pregnancy test in a day or two.
