Thread: Period ended almost two weeks ago and now is back

I'm 27 and have always had a regular menstrual cycle. I started my period on July 25th and it ended July 31st. Everything had been fine, normal like everyother month. About three days ago when I went to the bathroom and wiped I noticed a small amount of blood on the toilet paper. I didn't think anything of it. So yesterday when I went to the bathroom and wiped there was far more blood, and then today there was more then yesterday. The amount is light, like it woud be on the last day of my period. My stomach has been hurting like it does when I have my period. I'm just a little worried because this has never happened to me before. I don't take any birth control. I'm thinking of telling my doctor I want to start taking it because I have a very heavy period. I am overweight and have been losing weight. Not a ton of weight, just a few pounds here and there. I wasn't sure if that might be making this happen. I've asked a couple people and they've said it's nothing but I'm just a little afraid since this has never happened before.
