Thread: Menstrual issues

Maybe someone on here can help me. I am 34 and for the last 2 years my period pain is so severe that I usually can't move for 2 days. I hurt so bad that I feel like my insides are going to fall out. My lower back and lower stomach hurt, I have such severe cramping I have to put a hot towel over my stomache. I have been tested for endometriosis and do not have it, I do have fibroid tumors and my dr wants to give me a hysterectomy because of the fibroids on my ovaries. I am afraid that I will put on a ton of weight and that it will take a while to get the hormones correct. Why do I hurt so bad each month, and the flow is very light it is just a lot of clotting. I hate to get so graphic, but is this because I do need a hysterectomy?

How long have you had the Fibroids? I'd try naturally treating them and watching for growth or shrinking, before I had surgery.
