I'm concerend. I started my period today after not having one in almost two years. I'm 30, I have PCOS and a thyroid disorder. I've never had regular periods since they started, but I always had one. Sometimes they were two weeks long or more, and they came usually two or three months apart. I started birth control in my early 20s to regulate my periods, and although they weren't clock work with the pill cycle, I always had one while on birth control. I stopped taking the birth control in September 2008 and haven't had a period since. Until today. I'm scared I'm in early menopause. I'm scared I'll never be able to get pregnant and have children of my own. Are my concerns valid? Am I over reacting? Do I have legitimate cause for concern?
