Thread: what is going on no period after stopping pill

Hi There Everyone I Am New To This Site And Have Got A Q For U All. I Stopped Taking Bc On The A4th March 07 And On The 19th March Started Having Brown Discharge, I Rang My Gp And She Said That This Is My First Period Since Being Off The Pill, Does This Sound Right? Secondly I Have Tried Using My Ovulation Calender By These Dates To Work Out When Next Period Is Due, My Partner And I Have Been Trying For Another Child During This Time. My Ovulation Calendar Said That I Should Have Got Period Yesterday The 17th April But Nothing. I Have Had Weird Cramps, Dizziness And Cravings For2 Weeks And I Have Gone To Dr And Done Several Tests All Negitive. Have I Tested To Soon Plz Help Im Confused

Sometimes brown discharge could be old blood from past periods that had not washed out, but I think that you may be and have tested too soon. I did that every week (took a pregnancy test). When I waited another 2 weeks without even thinking about it I took another test it was positive.

Since you were supposed to get your cycle yesterday, wait until Sunday, and then take one. Or sooner if you really want to know.
