Thread: Brown spotting before period, worried about "implantation bleeding"...?

Hi guys. I've been having a lot of questions lately about my body down there and you've been great so far! So here's another one....

I'm experiencing brown spotting before my period. (in my last forum I asked about whether or not to expect my period during inactive pills without a doubt, and that was a yes). I should in theory then, be getting my period in the next few days, maybe next week, but I'm having brown spotting. Before the brown spotting I was having brown discharge as well weeks before this. I've read something about 'implantation bleeding' and that this might be a sign of pregnancy?! The last time I had sex was about 2.5/3 weeks ago. I am on birth control and he pulled out each time. But this is also my first month of ever using bc pills. What does brown spotting before a period mean? Am I pregnant? Is it some other normal explanation?
