Thread: Super Irregular Periods

Okay, I have an appointment to the gyno on Oct 1 but that's 2 weeks away......

A little background

I've always had pretty regular, heavy periods that usually last 7 days without cramps. I am 25 years old and had not been sexually active for the past 2 years. Well recently since June I have become sexually active again; been having unprotected sex with my BF. In June the first time we had sex I freaked out and took the Emergency pill within 26 hrs. I got my period one week earlier than expected (June 25) that lasted 10 days, was heavy, and I had some cramping. Ever since this last regular period my period has been irregular. In July I had sex again and around the time when my period was due on (July 28) I had headaches and spotting for about 2 days. Then on (August 15) I had spotting again for about 3 days. Now in September I had sex on the 3rd and from the 5 - 10 I had very light on/off spotting almost watery at the end. A week later (September 17) I seem to have my period again! It started off light at first then on the 21st it got slightly heavier with some light clotting but it still seems to be on and off. It has been 7 days now.....

Could this be my period regulating it self after the ECP? Or could I be pregnant? I am okay with having a baby.

BTW I went to the doctor and my blood works are normal...my thyroid is normal...my vitamin D is a little low and my blood sugar is a little bit high b/c in the last couple of years I have gained weight but I've been having regular periods. This was before I had sex again in September and the pregnancy test came back negative.

I would really appreciate any insight or past experiences

Or could I be having a miscarriage? I just went to the bathroom and had a huge clot....I don't regularly clot!
