Ovulating or not? I'm SO confused.

Hi Ladies,

I had a strange period 6 days ago, very spotty and dark in colour. I stopped bc 6 weeks ago and had a very long cycle the first month off - 35 days.

I then felt i had some discharge over the weekend and tested myself with the OPK. The lines came out the same colour (which means i'm ovulating). But I don't know how this is possible as it seems too soon... also I had a little bit of spotting yesterday too.

What does this sound like to you guys? I didn't think it was possible to ovulate so soon, considering my first cycle was 35 days. Unless my body is just all whacked out coming off the pill?

You probably are whacked after stopping the pill. You should be back to normal in a few months, just give it some time.

Yeah it can take time for your body to adjusted. Up to 3 months.

Probably best then that I wait a few months before TTC.

Just to update you gals.... last night I thought I'd do a preggy test.. and I got a BFP!!!!! I did 3 of them too (diff brands). Cannot believe it has happened so fast. I'm off to doc today for blood test.. I've had prenatal already... but fingers crossed everything goes well first trimester.
