I started taking the Pill about 4 months ago, i've had two very light periods since being on it, but have now gone 2 months in a row without one at all! I've read the FAQs at the top of this forum but didn't feel that any of the possible reasons applied to me, and i'm definately not pregnant as i haven't had sex.. I'm not using this as an alternative to seeing a doctor, i just wanted to know if it can be normal to miss two in a row as i know it's normal to miss one from time to time when on the Pill, especially when you're new to taking it.
Thanks in advance for any info )

    What pill are you taking?

Personally, no I don't think it is normal. Have you called you Dr to see if you could at least talk to a nurse and ask them? When I was on the pill, I was like clockwork. On my placebo pills I always had a period.

I'm on the one which you take every day without a break, i get the symptoms of being about to 'come on' like feeling bloated, pains etc but then they go without anything happening, and i'm not feeling ill or anything. I also had my smear test a few months ago which came back normal.

I was on a similar BC, where you take a pill everyday. In fact my doc gave it to me and told not to take the "period" pills. They WANTED to stop my periods. They thought that they could be causing my migraine. So I didn't have a periods for about 6 months. It can be normal. The pill effects everyone different. If you aren't prego, then just make sure that you mention it to your doc. He/she can help you decide if its a course that you should stay. I loved not having a period...... you might not. I did spot sometimes. Carry a small pad or tampon around with you, just in case.
