Thread: Extremely painful cramps ):

Okay so I'm 15 years old & I started my period when I was about 11 or 12. My period was never on a normal cycle & it stopped coming for 5 months! I was worried but I asked my doctor about it & he said sometimes that can happen. Suddenly I felt this really really sharp pain in my stomach & all I could do is lay in bed & cry because I was in so much pain. I got up to use the bathroom & found out that I got my period. I took an x-Ray of my kidneys & my abdomen & nothing showed up. I also did an ultrasound on my kidneys & bladder & nothing showed up there as well. It's been 5 days now. My period has stopped but I still have the bad sharp pain! My doc said to start some birth control pills to reset the cycle of my period. The pain is bad! Ibuprofen didn't even do 1 thing. It's hard to take a bath because it's not easy for me to get up & get out of the tub. Please can someone help me?

I think you should go see a different doctor or insist that your doctor refers you to a gynacologist
