So I on my inactive pills right now, (lowestrin birth control), and on pill 3 out of 4. I should have gotten my period 3 days ago when I started the inactive pills, and I kinda did, but I'm confused.

It's mostly all brown in color, and I know from a previous thread I made that this means this is old blood, and that my real period is on its way, but there is also mixed in red blood too, just mostly brown. Also, it has the flow of a normal period, (fairly regular, i.e. heavy, not light like spotting), so is this my period? This strange mostly brown some red colored flow of blood or is this something else? It feels like a period, cramping, bloating, (at the time that it should be happening), but why is it mostly brown?
