Thread: why am i bleeding 2 weeks after my period

hi. i am on bc pills and always have regular periods during my pill free week. my last period which was about 2 or so weeks ago came a week early and only lasted for a few days then stopped for a day or so then came back for another 2 days. it was pretty light and i did have some cramps. last week i was on antiobiotics for a chest infection and i had unprotected sex with my boyfriend. then 2 days after i started to get the light spotting, not bleading like a proper period. it lasted for like 3 days. i had cramps as if it was a period but im not due it for another 1 or 2 weeks. what could this be??

Antibiotics and cause the pill to be ineffective. Not sure if you were aware of that or not, the pharmacist should have told you. Anyway, you may want to take a pregnancy test in a week to rule that out.
