Thread: confused and annoyed...please help!

i am a 22 female and been trying to fall pregnant, this past month i was 5 days late and my period did something really strange, it started off really heavy and very watery, this lasted about 2 days, then it disappeared for a day with only very light spots, then came back really lightly and has been like that for 3 days now, in the last 24 hours i have noticed a foul rotten smell in the blood and this is worrying me, i have not had abdominal cramping for 2 days now, only this light browny-red watery blood...
is this something i need to be worried about and has anyone else been through something similar and can help me?

I went off birth control and about 3 weeks later I got a watery brown discharge (that I noticed after sex) that smelled horribly. It came down to being old blood that got trapted. I would say it is old blood. If it persists, I would see a doctor to make sure you do not have an infection.
