Thread: Urgent

Hi. I'm have been late on my period for about a week now, and I've been noticing changes in my discharge. It's super heavy, but it is rather creamy, and smells somewhat like butter. I read online that buttery discharge means some sort of vaginal infection, but i have no itching or discomfort whatsoever. The odor isn't foul, just strange. I was a week late on my period back in the summer, and my discharge began smelling a bit buttery then too. But nothing like this. There is a slight possability that I might be pregnant- I am sexually active. I am not on birth control, but we use condoms without fail, every time. And I sometimes stop during intercorse to check or rips, make sure its still on, ext... I have been feeling very depressed lately, and I guess stressing about not having a period. So maybe my late period has to due with the stress/depression? Not sure!
What the heck is going on?!

If I were you I would go staight to a doctor with this. Infections don't always have to itch or cause any discomfort but all of them are dangerous nevertheless. And if you think there might be a slight possibility that you are pregnant it makes your visit to a doctor even more urgent. There can be different reasons for your troubles and I don't want to scare you but only a doctor can tell you for sure. Hope everything will be well with you! Take care!
