hi there. i'm having actually a few problems with my menstrual cycle, and i wasn't sure which category to post in. here's the facts:

    +i'm 22
+i've been on birth control - loestrin 24 (a very low dosage) for at least six months now.
+my gyno diagnosed me with dysfunctional uterine bleeding at that point after having had two periods (a year apart) last for over a month and a half each.
+every time i have sex, it's like i'm losing my virginity again. at initial penetration, it's incredibly painful and then feels fine (though not pleasurable). this is true for EVERY time i have had sex with EVERY partner.
+i had brown discharge about a week or two ago, very very light, stopped pretty quickly. just yesterday i started spotting again. it spotted all day, and overnight turned into almost like that really light last day of your period, with just a moment of red, new blood, before turning back into brown. i'm due for my period in about a week and a half.

now, i know spotting between periods can be common on birth control, but this has never happened before. i've never spotted, even at the beginning of my birth control and its been quite some time now since i've been on it.

i really have no idea what's going on. i don't think i can be pregnant, because i haven't missed any periods, i don't miss taking my birth control, and i still make my boyfriend use a condom (i know, kind of excessive but i'm not taking any chances) so i really don't know what it could be.

i made an appointment with my gyno for monday (i haven't seen him since i started taking my birth control) but if there are specific questions i should ask, or if you have any suggestions as to what it might be so i could ease my very panicked brain, i would really appreciate it.

    help please!!!!

    update:

    now i'm clotting.
i'm getting really scared. the only thing it says on the internet is that i'm pregnant. i'm not late for a period yet, i'm on birth control, and we use condoms. i don't understand what's going on. i haven't had an abnormal period in almost a year. : (

You could be getting your period early this month. Sometimes this happens.
