I am 24 years old and have a very regular period. I haven't been on birth control for several months now due to lack of insurance and my cycle is like clock work.
I had sex once during this cycle on October 29th, (my previous period as from the 19th-23rd of October). Monday I started having a little light brown discharge, last night it was enough to make me wear a panty liner, this morning it had stopped completely and just a minute ago I went to the bathroom and there was a lot of brown-dark red discharge. According to the cycle calendar I have, I'm still 5 days from my period so I am very confused as to what is going on. I'm not cramping at all, and I haven't had this sort of discharge since I was very young and my cycle was still abnormal.
Does anyone have an idea as to what may be going on?
