Thread: Heavy, long period. Becoming worried

Hello, I'm 16 and I have an irregular period, so my doctor put me on birth control.So I've been taking birth control for about 3 weeks to regulate my period. During the first week of taking birth control day my boyfriend and I had sex and we didn't use a condom, he pulled it out, but he wasn't sure if he "cam" inside of me. I was worried that there was sperm inside of me so I went and got the morning after pill. That day I took the morning after pill and also took birth control. A week and a half later I got my period, but this time my period was extremely heavy and red. I started to become worried because this has been the heaviest it has ever been. One week passed by and I still have my period, this week I'm suppose to be taking the inactive birth control pills. I don't know if this is what is causing my long period, but I've been weak and having mood swings for the past week. Should I be worried? I tried contacting my doctor, but she hasn't responded yet. Does anyone know what the reason could be for the heavy long period? I'm worried that there is something wrong with me. PLEASE can someone inform me of what could be happening?

I would think the morning after pill plus your bc pill are the causes?
