My cycle always started on the 15-18 of every month. October came a week early on the 10th. November on the 7th (which was extremely heavy and painful. When it first started, I was sweating and feeling very faint and pale.). Today is December 5th. Normally a week before my period i experience swollen and tender breast. So far I only have a slight swell. I like keeping track of my cycle so i can be prepared and what not and its all over the place right now...

All these changes in my body have me a little worried. I think the changes started at the beginning of Oct. I work in the film industry and was on set for 10 days in the south. All the were giving us was the typical southern food. Not say say it isnt good, because its really yummy, but every day 3 meals a day..my body just didnt like it. And see I have a pretty healthy diet normally. Juice every morning, eat lots of veggies, fruits. Not muchof a meat eater either. So since working on that set, i feel my body has been thrown outta wack. I have been pretty stressed too. Been doing all kinds of reading of the effect of stress on the body and why is my period changing and why did i gain weight...etc. But I cannot seem to get an answer that feels right.

    Hi!

I'm sorry your period is acting so out-of-whack lately. To me, women's cycles are like mysteries - sometimes there's just no explaining them, they act funny. Earlier this year my period was off balance and it became regular again (stress was the culprit for me.) I think in the whole lifetime of a woman, it's only natural that her period changes slightly every now and then. But if this answer doesn't feel right to you, you may want to go to the doctor and ask him/her all the questions that you are unable to find answers to. Maybe even write them down. I'm sure he/she will be able to pinpoint the cause exactly as to why it's changing and most of all, being able to help you put your mind at ease.
