I had a D&C performed on May 21st due to a missed miscarriage at 8 weeks. I didn't have any pain or bleeding after the D&C. My period returned in July and has been really heavy and painful since then. I've tried birth control pills to help but they didn't work. I've been having pain around my right ovary since the D&C also. My periods have never been normal but they have been unbearable since July. I have horrible cramps that start at least a week before my period shows. My back hurts too. I've also been passing a lot of clots. With my last period I had pressure and burning (almost like heartburn) in my lower abdomen. I had dysplasia in the past and had some sort of minor procedure to remove the abnormal cells, this was in May 1997. Anyone ever experience anything like this? My last period was so bad I had to miss 3 days of work because I was so weak. I also now experience some pain during sex since having my D&C. Someone please help!
