Missed period
I have missed my period every other months for about 6 months now. I am 48 and I was thinking it was just menopause. But I am concerend. I need to get to the Dr but between my children and my elderly mother who lives with me I take off too much time as it is and just haven't found the time to go. I was wondering if anyone else has this problem? I have paid attentions and its my left ovary that is not working. I have no symptoms of a period that month except maybe a sore back. Last month my back went into spasm but that happens once in awhile anyway. Oh and when I get my period (every other month) its it extremely heavy. I have always been regular like clock work my whole life.
Take some time to yourself and really try to get into the Dr. Your cycles may just be changing, it may be menopause, or it may be something else.
I would imagine that having your period every other month would make for a real heavy period. Get to the Dr and get a pap and exam.
