My girlfriend is worried and she cant see a doctor until Wednesday so I thought I'd ask here so I can put her mind at rest.

She had a urine infection that led to blood in her pee. She went to the docs and was given an antibiotic. We used condoms while the pill was ineffective. The doctor told her to go onto her next packet and not take a break for a period.

The day before her period would have started she had some light blood on her underwear. This has been the case for 7 days and today (the 7th day) was really quite heavy like a heavy period. We did a pregnancy test last week and it was negative. This shouldve been the best time to do it because he hormone levels were high I think.

What could it be? Obviously she still might be pregnant but what are the other options? Thanks for any help.
