Hey I'm new to this site so hopefully I post thi correctly. I got my period Jan fifth and ended on the tenth. I experienced light spotting before getting my period which was strange because I can't remember that happening before (I really only started keeping track Of my period since I became sexually active about a year ago). My boyfriend and I use condoms most of the time and there were times were he didn't have a condom on but would put one on before ejaculating. I don't think that would cause me to get pregnant because we would do that for like a minute at the most. Regardless, since the tenth till the 22nd we haven't not used a comdom. On Jan 22nd I started getting light spotting, like I said is rather unusual, on the 25 I thought I had gotten my period because the bleeding got really heavy but the next day my pad only had light spotting till night time it got really heavy. It's the 28 now an this is still continuing which makes me wonder if this is my period? My cycle is around 31 days so my prospected period was February fifth to the eight which would make this period(?) about a week to two weeks early. I'm not on birth control or have ever been. The only ogre possible reason could be stress since I've recently been experiencing some financial setbacks and my eating and sleeping patterns are irregular. Then of course here's a possibility of pregnancy I guess but I haven't experience any symptoms at all.
Please let me know if you've experienced the same or any other possible explanations.

Stress levels can play a big role in the way your body functions. Regular exercise will help relieve stress, improve your appetite (with a well balanced diet of course), and help you sleep. Also, you have just recently become sexually active, which could cause spotting. You should always use a condom during sex, not just when he ejaculates, the pre-ejaculate can absolutely get you pregnant. Condoms are only effective when used properly. If you're still having concerns, talk to your doctor. Hope this helps sweetie and good luck!
