I'm 17, and a virgin. I've always had an irregular period but I haven't had a period since October 2009.

I know i need to go to a doctor but I decided to search around online first.

I'm extremely stressed. I'm in the middle of going through college admissions and am taking my first ACT in two weeks. I've been through extremely stressful situations in the last 3 years (i got my first period in 2007)

I'm not in any sports or anything, i'm not the healthiest eater either, but I've started eating healthier. I am sick a lot too. I am so afraid this is something like pre menopause. I hope not. But any help would be helpful.

Also. I've heard of a medicine, I think it's called Provera, from my understanding it is used to jump start your period, do you think something like that would be good to use? Thanks.

Please help in any way you can. Thanks.

Hi..did you ask online doctors about it? i think there is a medical term for the long term absence of a period..it is amenorrhea. still at times, an absent period may be due to an irregular cycle which is known a oligomenorrhea.
