Weird black period

Hey ladies,

first post so please excuse any faux pas

umm wow this is embarrassing, im 25, 2 kids (youngest is 3) healthy, have regular pap smears, not std's (screened recently) normally regular periods etc etc.

My last period was on the 18th of january, went for 6 days. 2 days ago i woke up spotting black-extremely dark brown blood. no red in it at all

its light (liner, not even pad worthy) very thick, thicker than blood, like middle of the month muscusy discharge thick, no cramps.

The 'bleeding' started after an extreme stress moment the night before, dont know if that means anything?

Ive recently gone back on depo provera (3mth contro shot) after a month off and its due to be redone on the 11th of this month. My partner and I use depo as our only form of contraception but techically i shouldnt be ovulating til four days from now (you can really only get preg then right??)

I cant get into dr til feb 28th

So im wondering does anyone have any idea what the beep could be going on?

Update: caved earlier tonight and went to the emergency room. Dr up there says im severely dehydrated and he also thinks i may have managed to fall pregnant on depo provera (he says its not unusual, another patient of his conceived triplets on it!!!! :O ) waiting on blood tests now......ohhhh boy....
