Thread: Need help/advice! :)

Hello ladies. I have a question but first I need to tell you guys a little bit of a back story. Im 27, Im not on Birth control and my periods are always 28-31 days apart. I ended my period on the 10th of this month it was normal. At the end of my period on the 10th I started taking a herbal supplement for nutrition called Resveratrol. (I didnt know it at the time, but I looked it up and it said it could have similar effects of synthetic estrogen.) I took it for a 7 days and on the 8th day I started spotting. The spotting then turned to bleeding like a period for 3-4 days. The bleeding stopped 3 days ago and I starting having brown mucus discharge yesterday and into today when I wipe. I didnt notice any discharge for two days after my second "period." I went to the doctor and she didnt seem to be concerned. She just said, "watch it." So I guess my question is, what could be causing two periods in a month and brown discharge? Oh and my pap was normal in October. Thank you!
