Thread: weird light/heavy alternating cycles....

So I'm finally having regular periods at almost aged 21, and the routine my endocrine system has settled into is weird...I alternate between a light period in which I hardly lose any blood if at all, just membranes, and a heavy one where I'm hemorrhaging like and suffer severe cramps.

Otherwise, I don't have any health problems, so I'm not really interested in having it seen to, just curious as to why I have a weird cycle...Anyone?

Some women have very different period experiences depending on which ovary is firing. Since they alternate, that might explain your situation.
