Can I stop breakthrough bleeding? Please read!
I've been planning a trip to fly to the Bahamas for about a year now. I'm on the birth control Seasonique, which I've been on for around 3 years and only had breakthrough bleeding once for a short time a while back. Well, of course the day before my big trip with my boyfriend, I wake up and notice that I'm already starting to get a slightly pink discharge, which will probably lead to my period! I'm literally crying out of frustrationNo woman wants to take care of this while on vacation! Does anyone know anything that can stop it? Please help, and thank you in advance!
Not much you can do. You are on a 3 month birth control pill where breakthrough bleeding is one of the side effects, and as luck would have it, it generally happens at the most inconvenient times. Such is life.
You can call your Dr and see if he/she has any suggestions, but they will probably say nothing they can do.
