Missed Period
Hi I'm a 42 year old woman and I have had a Tubal Ligation back in 1994 and my last period was Jan.15,2011 and I haven't had my period since then and I was wondering what could be causing me to have missed a period and what I should do and if me and my fiancee should worry or be concern and if anyone can help me with my concern?

I agree with ItsASecret. Though you are young, it seems that just as girls now days seem to be starting their menstruation younger, women are going into perimenopause younger.
However, it could be a number of other things....hormonal imbalance, weight loss/weight gain, etc. Have people gotten pregnant after failed tubals? Yes. Is it a possibility? Sure. But most likely not. If it were me, I'd schedule an appt with my doc and request to have my hormonal levels checked, thyroid function etc.
