Hi yall, I am 29 years old, have on time periods every month no spotting...until 2 days ago....I am now a little past mid-cycle and 2 days ago I had discharge that was light pink. I thought I was just going to start my period early and didnt think twice about it. Then yesterday evening it turned into dark brown (like old blood) discharge. and has stayed that way so far today... I am crampy like I am having my period. I am not and have not been on any form of BC since 2002 so I know that doesnt have anything to do with it. The only person I am sexually active with is my husband and its not a std....its just real unusual for me.. I have never had this happen since I started my cycle at 14 yrs old. I guess I was just wondering if anyone might have any insight on this. I thought if it was my period it wouldnt look like old blood (like it does after I have my period for 5 days the next 4 are dark brown discharge that is old blood) I thought it would be fresh blood. I dont know you would think after 3 kids and 15 years of a cycle these things would be easy to answer and figure out, lol. Thanks for listening!
