I started having issues with prolonged/irregular periods in August of last year. I went to the doctor in September and was tested for std's,my thyroid was checked, and I had a pap and ultrasound. Everything checked out fine so the dr thought I had anovulatory bleeding. Well,I ended up being ok til I had sex again. Then I had a 2 week period a day or a few days after. Then I was ok again til I had sex once again on Valentine's Day. I started bleeding a few days after and it was never heavy. It lasted til a few days ago and now I am bleeding heavy and it is like a normal period. Could it be? But earlier this month, while I was lightly bleeding, I had sex and then not too long after, I had yellow discharge for a few days,then it looked orange and then I started bleeding again. I am going to get tested for any possible std's just in case and I did have unprotected sex. Stupid I know. Anyway, have any of you had yellow discharge and prolonged periods? The period issue isnt from a std since I was tested as I said when I was having the irregular period issue before. I just wonder about the discharge and of course I want rid of this annoying period issue. I don't want to have a month long period everytime I have sex! I am 30,too if that helps.
