Hello,
I am 20 years old and sexually active. I have recently been to gyno and am healthy. The week before I was scheduled to get my period (I am usually incredibly regular and have not experienced this before) I experienced light bleeding/spotting for only about a day and had cramping for a while during and after that. What can this be? Any answers are welcomed and appreciated.

Could be you ovulated later than normal and what you experienced was ovulatory spotting and cramping. If that's the case, your period won't come for about 12-16 days after.
You could also be pregnant and what you felt could be implantation bleeding and cramping. Are you using protection?
