Hi! So I've been looking around for help with this but either symptoms only sort of match or no answer was ever really given, so I've sought you out for help!

Some background - I've been taking Avaine birth control pills for the last 14 months and only skipped 2 of my periods in that time (the last one was in December because I was going on a cruise). The entire time I've been on it I've had brownish discharge for a day or two before my period and two or three days after (the period w/ red blood lasting about 4 days). Never was it different, never did I have spotting.

This month my period ended the 1st, I had otherwise unprotected sex (no condom) the 2nd which was the 3rd day of the first week of orange pills. According to this chart thing I use, my ovulation should have been from the 6th to the 12th. I had this dark brown discharge from the 7th to the 12th - No big deal I figured even though it had never happened before, it lined up with ovulation.

It stopped for a day and since the 14th I've had more dark brown discharge. It doesn't smell or anything. I've had two or three days of cramping in the two weeks but they were minor and short. I've had some digestion problems but nothing like diarrhea.

I had my annual scheduled for this next week but it's been moved to the 30th cuz the doctor is out for Spring Break. I can't afford to see a regular doctor and I won't be in town to see the school doctors until pretty much then anyway.

I'm due to start my period about Tuesday but I kind of wonder if I should wait or if this is serious or WHAT!

Anyone have some advice they can offer?
