Thread: I dont know whats going on. Pregnant or just a late period

I had unprotected sex with my bf, when he came home, on the 24th-26th of February. My cycle was due between the 6th and the 9th of March. My last period was January 7th. It is now the 21st of March. On March 4th, I was swabbed for strep throat and indeed it came back positive. I was prescribed some meds for the strep throat. And was instructed to take it for 10 days. I have taken 2 pregnancy test. One on 3/14 night and the other on 3/15 morning and both were negative..(ept was the brand). Also spotting began 3/14 and is still continuing, only when I wipe( not enough for a tampon) So now what is going on with me? Trying to prevent from going to the doctor. And although I have a check up on April 4th, if its something serious, I will go see my doctor right away. Has anyone experience this?

Oh and I am not feeling no other type of pregnancy symptoms, except headaches...

You didn't have a period at all in February? Sickness can cause a delay in ovulation but shouldn't cause a stop in ovulation. Some women have a few anovulatory cycles here and there. It sounds like when you had unprotected sex, you were already over a month late for your period. So chances are, if you were pregnant the HPT would've shown positive. Are you on birth control pills?
