    Exclamation UTI & discharge

I just went to the doctor yesterday and found out that I have an Urinary Tract Infection, I told the doctor I was bleeding and she seemed unconcerned. I am also having brown discharge.
I just recently started having more frequent sex, so I wasn't sure if that might have to do with it?
I'm not due for my period until the 19th, but I've never really been regular.
Of course the fact that I am a major worrier probably isn't helping any of this.
I guess I'm just wanting to know if this is normal?
Or if I have anything to worry about?

    Thanks!!

first off- when i had my first UTI and i peed blood my doctor was concerned, when you reach the point of peeing blood and having back pain, fever, and chills- its very serious and treatment should be done immediately - but hey i survived so i guess its fine!

but in my case i noticed that when i would have sex and not pee right after that i would develope a UTI- you want to always make sure you do that, it has become routine for me and my fiance! and you also want to make sure you wipe front to back and shower daily- also avoid scented bubble baths and scented body washes- i use Dove and it works great!

As for the discharge- you should probably ask your doctor- it might not be related to the UTI since that is a different part of the body, but it doesnt hurt to ask!
