    Hi guys,

jUst after a bit of advice. My period has stopped yeah my first thought was am pregnant done more than 3 test and then confermied I wasn't. Am not on any birth control apart from condoms . So after nearly 10 week with out my period went to the docs who ordered bloods to see if there was any hormonal imbalance. Bloods came back fine. Is there a change that I could be pregnant? can anyone answer me why my periods have stopped ?? He give me the pill to start taking but I don't want to start taking the pill? Any advise I would be grateful thanks guys. Xxx

I would get a second opinion. If you had a blood test done recently, they most likely checked for pregnancy. So Im thinking thats probably not the case. If it were me, I woudl try to figure out what is going on with my body (ie. getting checked out again, maybe by a diff. doc.) before I went on a birth control pill. Hope you can figure things out soon!!

Not having a period is no reason to go on birth control. The periods you get on BC aren't even real. They are just withdrawal from the medication. It wouldn't make you ovulate or cycle at all normal. It would fix nothing. It would just make you think everything was fixed. This doctor is trying to get rid of you. I would go find a specialist to talk to about it and tell them you really want to know the cause. Particularly if you ever want to get pregnant some day.
