I have just found this site today and am probably too late for advice. I have an appointment with a gaenocologist tomorrow. It was initially just over a week early although the last one was very light. It lasted 2 days, stopped 2 days repeatedly for two about weeks then was a reasonable (not heavy) period for two weeks. Them I felt like I was bleeding to death. For a week I had to change day and night within the hour or it would soak through my clothes. The doctor is wonderful and gave me tranexamic acid (which makes me feel sluggish by the 4th day) and norethisteron (which gives me PMT and makes me cry) and Ponstan (which gives me liquid poos). Does anyone have any ideas? If I stop taking them it all starts again within 2 days.
