Hello everyoneI'm sure this question has been posted before but, I'm new, so hang in there with me

I'm 18 and about 8 months ago my doctor put me on a new type of birth control (I was formerly on Yaz but it really messed me up) so he chose Minorval this time around, I think that's what it's called.
Anyways, I stopped taking that as well because I just made the personal choice that I didn't want to be on hormonal birth control.
I had my 'period' when I came off the pill about 4 months ago, 35 days later I had a normal 7 day long period, but I had less severe cramps than I normally do/ever have had with my period. I skipped last month (probably getting the BC out of my system?) and then this month, it seemed normal, it was quite heavy the first two days, but not it's getting quite a bit lighter than what I'm used to. What could cause this? Do period cycles just change sometimes?
Yes, no two periods are ever exactly alike. They can be heavier, lighter, start sooner, go longer, be shorter, never happen, spot frequently, spot infrequently, have cramps, have no cramps, PMS, no PMS, bloating, no bloating....and so on. Your body is getting used to having no pill in it, it is going to take a bit for it to reorganize itself.Do period cycles just change sometimes?
There are those who believe that dictionaries should not merely reflect the times but also protect English from the mindless assaults of the trendy.
