Not sure where you got that information from, but things like that come from over-exaggerations on the internet from people who are trying to scare people from taking any form of birth control. If it did lead to infertility it simply would not be prescribed, too many doctors would be sued even if the warning was posted on the drug. Doctors would not want to deal with getting sued so easily if Depo actually did cause infertility in a great majority of women. Same applies to other types of birth control, if it did cause infertility it would not be prescribed simply due to doctors not wanting to get sued even if the information was there for patients to read. There are people who have risk factors in their lives who can become infertile for reasons other than taking birth control, but it is not take the shot for a few years and now you are infertile. Does not work that way.I know the shot, after being on it for a good while, can lead to infertility.
As for the pain grab some Midol rather than Extra strength Advil (Ibuprofen is Advil). Midol was made to alleviate more period symptoms rather than the general pain relief from Advil.
