Hi there
Just seeing if anybody has any similar experiences/advice on this!
I have been on contraception pills since the age of 16 (3 years), I have been swapped onto various types of pills over the years as i have always suffered from irregular periods. However, the past year or so I have had around 3/4 proper full cycles (with bleeding). I have had around 2/3 one day periods throughout this year also, mainly just very light brown discharge (no odour) as opposed to an actual blood flow. I am currently on Cezarette mini pill, which I have been advised can actually stop periods. However, I think there may be an underlying problem, as no matter what pill i am on, whether it be combined or mini pill, my periods are still irregular or non existent.
In the past 4 weeks, I have also suffered from painful headaches for long periods of time and very painful stomach cramps, worse than those i would usually get around that time of the month.
I am worried that I may have one of a few conditions I have come across from researching on the internet such as polycystic ovary syndrome, however everytime i go and see my GP, they don't seem to take my seriously and always put it down to me being on the pill, despite changing pills various times to no avail.
Any advice/personal experiences anyone has would be great as i'm going out of my mind here!![]()
hmm.. have you discussed this with your mom or someone close to you?
