!!!please help me!!! brown discharge and sexually active.. =[[
I'm 18 years old, sexually active, and for the past 5 days I've been getting brown discharge in my underwear (This has never happened before). My cycles are usually 45 days apart, so it's hard to tell if I'm getting my period or of I'm pregnant.
I've been reading some other articles about women getting brown discharge and most of them are pregnant. The last time I had sex was 3 and a half weeks ago, so I guess it is possible, but I really don't know. Other women have said they're ovulating or they're getting their period, but I shouldn't be getting mine for another 2 and a half weeks... so now I'm getting worried.
Do you think I'm pregnant or is it just a girl thing (that's never happened to me before)???
My mom would NEVER be understanding about anything to do with this; and she doesn't like talking about girl things. So I just really need some help! =[[

Brown is a sign that your body is shedding the uterine lining without having bright red blood. Basically the blood and lining are there but it simply is not being pushed out right when it starts to bleed and shed. It happens to all women at some point in their regular cycles.
