I have posted on here before about slight bleeding after sex, this month has been very strange.

We are actively trying for a baby (should point out I am 45 but after blood tests have been told that all my hormones appears normal).

We had sex on day 19 and I had bleeding after only slight and it usually happens a few days before my period so I though I had ovulated early, but day 20 and 21 nothing, then day 22 I lost a very dark brown spot of discharge about the size of a 50p then nothing, day 23 I had more very dark brown discharge and as I was going out i used a tampon thinking I was going to start my period as I had also been having mild cramping and backache, when I got home the tampon was almost clean! Day 24 I had slight dark brown streaking when I wiped just once and then day 25 I had a bit more very dark brown streaking so again used a tampon thinking it was my period, I went to work and has cramping but when I went to change the tampon it was clean again!

Its now day 28 and I have had no streaking or anything for 3 days just slight cramping and backache, we have had sex a few times since day 19 and there has been no bleeding after although we did use a different position.

I guess I feel like my period is due as I keep feeling light headed but I dont have any signs of pregnancy like I did with my other two, its so frustrating

Is this a sign that my menopause is starting do you think?
