Thread: Irregularities.. I'm scared!

The last time I had sex was September 3rd. I have had absolutely no sexual contact with anyone since then.

I have been on loloestrin since late May, and I never missed a day.
My last period, during my inactive pills, was supposed to arrive on September 16th but it never came. I took a pregnancy test on the second day of my missed period and it came back negative.

My boobs were extremely sore this month so I thought I should take another test.
I tried one two weeks later and it also came back negative.

Now, I am a week out from my next period and am experiencing brown/pink spotting. I took a pregnancy test three days ago and it also came back negative.

I took all of my pregnancy tests early in the morning when I first woke up!
I'm really freaking myself out here. I hope I'm not pregnant and I'm just stressing myself out, but this is so weird for me. I never miss a period or have this brown discharge.

If I miss this next period (which is supposed to arrive on Friday) I am going to call my doctor and set up an appointment but I am so scared.

I'm wondering if this could just be my birth control acting weird? My friends tried to tell me that traveling can mess with your cycle but I'm confused. Why am I getting breakthrough bleeding three weeks after a missed period?

I was on loestrin for a little bit and once I got off it, my cycle was irregular, but I've never been pregnant. It must be that you're off the pill.
