Wow...I meant AUGUST 30th. I've had my period for a month and a half straight!
I know there are issues with Plan B, but this is getting ridiculous! I took a Plan B on September 29th. My period came 3 days after and STILL has not stopped. I have gone through 3 boxes of tampons.
Not only is that inconvenient, but I've also been getting horrible pinching craps on my left side, dizziness, nausea and bad stomachaches. Really, how long will this last? I will never take another Plan B. It's been a miserable and painful experience.

It is meant to be an emergency contraceptive method for these exact reasons. It contains several times the dose of a particular type of chemical present in regular birth control so taking just the one tablet will mess your cycles up. How long they are messed up is entirely an individual thing. Some women experience no issues and some feel like garbage for months. The very common side effects are nausea, dizziness, missed or extended periods, spotting, and aches and pains. You will simply have to wait it out as there is not much a doctor can do other than say maybe start up on a more reliable method of birth control.
There are those who believe that dictionaries should not merely reflect the times but also protect English from the mindless assaults of the trendy.
