Is it possible since I was spotting last week that it was my period? Anyway, here's the deal. This week, I'm supposed to have my period, however, I'm not, I was bleeding a tiny bit, but that's about it. Last week, I missed about 2 of my pills, and my body obviously thought that it was my period, because it was bleeding/spotting, at one point it even released a bit of the egg. Is this why my period is so off this month? I am not sexually active as in vaginal sex. I do 'fool around' if you want to call it, however, I am active in the mastrabation sense. My boyfriend and I have mastrubated together, and we've gotten each other off, but I make sure after we get him off, anything that we've used on him is far away from me, and he goes to wash his hands before doing anything on me, etc. We have humped naked before, but I don't think that would cause anything, considering he wasn't penetrating.
SO, back to the question, is the reason I'm not having my period because of me missing a couple pills last week (Last week was bad, I missed them, but I'd take them at a different time each day.)? I don't know, it's kind of worrying that it's Wendesday and I haven't had anything happen yet. (A small bit of bleeding.)
Thanks much!
Being a bit late is not necessarily uncommon for many women because no two periods are exactly the same. Missing the pills would do make you late though, and taking them at random times. You are supposed to take them at generally the same time everyday with about a 3 hour window to do so (to make up for possible complications like being stuck in traffic and cannot get home in time to take the pills).
Dry humping will not alter your period though.
There are those who believe that dictionaries should not merely reflect the times but also protect English from the mindless assaults of the trendy.
