Hi guys, I'm a 19 year old female experiencing some weird symptoms. I know I should just make an appointment with a gyn, but I have no insurance and am frankly quite apprehensive about the whole "exam" thing. So, I'm posting here.

I had my first period at age 12, then didn't have another one for four months, so I went to the gyno who put me on BC without an exam. I remained on the BC and had a regular period until feb. of this year, when I stopped taking it because I was worried about putting those hormones in my body. Well, I had the normal withdrawal bleeding, then didn't have a period until July. I had another about six weeks later in early september, and haven't had one since. I have gained a lot of weight, and my skin and hair is VERY oils. I'm also having bad breakouts. I just don't feel good most of the time, and I'm pretty sure I'm depressed. I worry that I could be pregnant, even though my only experience with sex has been masturbation. I've never even been kissed (this is by choice, I had a bad experience as a kid and have not really opened myself back up to men yet). Anyway, I think I'm psychotic. Ha.
Research (the dreaded "google diagnosis") has lead me to believe I may have PCOS.
    What do you think?
Oh, and I found a program where I can see a gyn for free; I am applying today and should get my permission in about two weeks. So, please also relieve my exam anxiety!

Do you have alot of abnormal hair growth? PCOS is a definite possibility, but keep in mind that PCOS is quite common and many women still lead very normal lives, have babies, etc with it.

It doesn't sound like there is any way you're pregnant, so I'd get that worry off my mind.
