so for the last few weeks i have been experiencing a horrible, cramp-like sensation in both my hips where my ovaries are located (a mild version of what my ovarian cyst felt like before i was diagnosed) throughout the month, especially during my period. nothing i do helps the pain besides over the counter pain killers, but the more i sit or stand, the more it hurts -- laying down relieves some pressure but it's still very uncomfortable. i am not pregnant nor am i on any hormonal medications (i have the paragard iud for pregnancy prevention).

i am a stage II sufferer of endometriosis (found deep in my pelvic cavity via laparoscopy in sept. 2011), so i am concerned that perhaps the endo is back. when i visited my ob/gyn at my follow up appt. after my lap, i told him about the pain & he is convinced it is too early for it to be back considering i am not at a very advanced stage, but i just don't know anymore.

i want more than anything to have a family with my boyfriend in the future, but this pain is a constant reminder i may never be able to have that :'( there is also the fear i may be developing PCOS, as i have had a large ovarian cyst on my right ovary (as i previously stated) which went away on it's own in about 5 months -- not sure if this was due to the endo or not, i was undiagnosed at the time.

since i have not been TTC i do not know if i am even ovulating & if that could be a source of my pain, and i find it especially odd that the pain is the worst on my period. i have been bleeding heavily since getting the paragard inserted so i'm not sure if that has anything to do with it, but the fact that both ovaries are effected bothers me. i plan on making an earlier appt. with my ob/gyn but any peace of mind to help me sleep tonight would be GREATLY appreciated xoxo.
